Guiltiness?

Now that Toby and his mom have moved to Seattle, Toby has made some new friends that I believe will eventually get him into trouble. What I keep wondering though is does Toby ever feel even a little bit guilty about going behinde his mom's back and doing these bad jokes and pranks knowing that she wants him to be a good well behaved son.
