The gun...

Why would Roy give Toby that gun? If they know he is a troubled kid and doesn't always make to best decision then why would he buy him a gun? I was just wondering what was going through Roy's mind when he decided to buy him that gun.

    I think that Roy wanted Toby to be a man and learn how to shoot a gun.

    He game him the gun because he was a creep, and he would do anything to get to his mother
