Guns?
In the story Jack (Toby) gets a gun from Roy. I think that Roy should have waited till Jack was a little older because he doesn't know the proper way to use the gun and if the gun gets into the wrong hands it could end in a really bad way. The gun control now a days is really bad. I think that you should be able to have a gun but only if you know how to use it and you use it for the right thing (not killing people).

I agree with you also Amber I think you, Kelsey and I have the Same idea in the fact that he is not mature enough to own a weapon
ReplyDeleteI like the point you trow out there. Do you think the reason why he doesn't know how to use it, is because the lack of a father figure. My feeling on control are that you should be able to have the right to bare arms. If you had the control to change the law? what would you do? What it be similar to what it is as of now. lastly i feel like a gun can really help a man/women become more responsible.
ReplyDeleteI think Toby should have been older when he got this gun, when Roy said he got his first gun at the same age, he should of know that he was responsible enough to have a gun.
ReplyDeleteI agree with ray on this because in his life he's always had an abscesse with a father figure and this is his way of escaping reality to find comfort.
